DoseLab 6.30 Released
Mobius Medical Systems, LP is proud to announce that DoseLab 6.30 is released. This update includes FractionCHECK Monitor, which automatically checks Varian log files for delivery errors immediately after every treatment. Other major new features include:
- FractionCHECK supports Trajectory Log files from Varian TrueBeam accelerators
- FractionCHECK calculates maximum and average leaf speeds for users with any license
- The CT / CBCT module computes geometric distortion
- The MLC Strip Test module can identify the leaf number of failing leaves
- The MLC Strip Test module computes the interstrip ratio

Mobius Medical Systems, LP is excited to announce the release of DoseLab 6.20, featuring FractionCHECK. FractionCHECK is a new per-fraction QA tool that analyzes thousands of treatment log files (currently Varian DynaLog files) to automatically detect errors. Once errors are found, physicists can view detailed results, including planned and delivered fluences. Existing DoseLab customers can use basic FractionCHECK features. A FractionCHECK license can be obtained to access advanced features, such as loading 25,000 fields at once and performing gamma calculations.
Other DoseLab 6.20 highlights include:
- Customizable flatness and symmetry calculation methods
- Penumbra calculations in flatness and symmetry
- Arbitrary profiles and multiple profiles in the Single Image Analysis profile tool
- The MLC Strip Test and PDD Film modules are now fully automatic
- Electron R90, R80, R50, and R20 values are calculated in the PDD module
- Gamma calculations are 20x faster
- Support for Sun Nuclear ImagePro phantoms, iba’s DIGI-13 phantom, and the CIRS 610 AAPM CT Performance phantom

Mobius Medical Systems, LP is proud to announce that DoseLab 6.00 is released. This update adds full database and tolerance support for TG-142 tests. It also makes DoseLab’s wide variety of tools easier to access with a new main interface. Major new features include:
- Redesigned main interface, making navigation easier and giving us room to add more Machine QA tools in the future
- A fast, no-setup-required database to store TG-142 results
- Fully customizable tolerance settings for all TG-142 results
- Support for exporting TG-142 results to Sun Nuclear’s ATLAS database
- New flatness and symmetry interface, including support for base profile comparisons
- New DICOM file renaming tool
- Support for multiple CT phantoms

DoseLab Pro 5.60 is now available. Version 5.60 includes automatic analysis tools for MV, kV, CT, and cone beam CT (CBCT) imaging QA phantoms. All tools output data in PDF reports and XLS files.
DoseLab Pro includes support for the following phantoms: Standard Imaging QC-3, Standard Imaging QC-kv1, Varian’s Las Vegas phantom, Leeds TOR 18FG, Catphan 503, Catphan 504, and Catphan 600. The imaging QA tools are designed to allow users to add custom phantoms. All analyses are fully automatic for included phantoms and user-defined phantoms. Calculations are designed to fulfill AAPM TG-142′s recommendations.
Additionally, patient names and ID numbers are now automatically imported from DICOM and Pinnacle files. This makes dose comparisons even faster, with less data input necessary.
ISO 13485:2003 Certification
Mobius Medical Systems, LP (MMS) is now ISO 13485:2003 certified. MMS constantly strives to achieve the highest level of product quality assurance and international standards compliance. Additionally, all software life cycle processes are designed to adhere to IEC 62304 guidelines.
Designing internal quality assurance systems to meet or exceed common international medical software development and maintenance guidelines is an integral part of software design. DoseLab Pro version 5.50 is now available. Highlights of new features include:
- Automatic measurement orientation, fine rotation, and ROI selection
- Automation menu to control which parts of the comparison process are performed automatically
- Batch dose comparison mode with PDF summary report
- 10x faster DTA and 2x faster gamma calculations
- Support for MapCHECK’s coordinate system (used to calculate offsets from autopositioning results)
- EBT2 film blue channel corrections
Blue channel corrections can be applied by simply checking one box, and can result in up to 3% more accurate EBT2 film dosimetry. Dose comparisons can now be automatically aligned, rotated, calculated, and have multipage PDF reports generated in 5-10 seconds. These changes allow physicists to obtain results in an extremely fast, accurate, and reproducible manner, giving them more time to analyze results.
