DoseLab is a set of software programs for quantitative comparison of measured and computed radiation dose distributions. This website distributes a compiled version and its MATLAB source code.
DoseLab is the software portion of a film dosimetry system that performs quality control tests on linear accelerators and treatment planning software. DoseLab reads two images that represent measured and computed patient doses and performs quantitative comparisons used by medical physicists to verify the delivered treatment matches the intended prescription. It is useful as a research tool that calculates and displays many types of dose comparison metrics.
